BIOGRAPHY

She graduated in 2019 in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology at Politecnico di Milano with a master thesis on the study and characterization of low-alloy steels produced via Selective Laser Melting. From May 2019 to December 2024 she worked in CNR ICMATE (Lecco unit) as a research fellow on several projects about the development of shape memory alloys (SMA) and their elastocaloric and multicaloric effects. In October 2021 she started a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano working on the development and characterization of shape memory alloys with elastocaloric properties for solid-state refrigeration applications. Since December 2024 she works in CNR ICMATE (Lecco unit) as a fixed-term researcher on the EU project M-TES about the development of metallic phase change materials for thermal energy storage applications.
