BIOGRAPHY
Research fellow at CNR-ICMATE, currently involved in ReLoDS project (Reconfigurable Low-Dimensional Nano-Structures at Liquid Interfaces): his research is aimed at studying how the presence of ionic strength affects the interfacial dilational rheology and the surface tension of surfactant-covered silica nanodispersions.
After graduating in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor degree, 2018), he got his Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology Master degree in 2020 at Politecnico di Milano: his thesis was done in collaboration with CEA-Liten Grenoble research center, dealing with the influence of surfactants on the piezoelectric and dielectric properties of screen-printed BaTiO3/PVDF composites.
He got his PhD in Chemical Sciences at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2024). His PhD thesis, entitled “Interfacial Properties of Complex Fluids”, was mainly focused on the study of the dilational interfacial rheology and the surface tension of surfactant solutions, polymeric solutions and monolayers, covered nanoparticles dispersions. The PhD program, belonging to NanoPaInt ITN Marie Skłodowska-Curie network, allowed him to collaborate with other European institutions, such as Universidad de Granada, CNR-ICMATE, TU Darmstadt.
He co-authored several publications in collaboration with Italian and international research organizations, and he attended conferences about fluid interfaces and rheology.
