BIOGRAPHY

I graduated in Chemical Sciences and Technology (MS) at the University of Milan-Bicocca in November 2023 with a thesis regarding theragnostic tannin-based nano- and micro-capsules for oncologic applications. From January 2024 to May 2024, I worked in the same research group to improve the control over the properties of the capsules and adapt the system for in-vivo imaging on zebrafish as model organisms. 
From May 2024 to present day, I work on a PRIN project in a collaboration between CNR-ICMATE and UNIMIB on the synthesis of waste-based multifunctional quantum carbon dots functionalized with active ligands for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
