BIOGRAPHY

She graduated in Chemistry at the University of Padua in 1998. From 1999 to 2003 she carried out research at ICMATE with scholarships and grants on electroforming and characterization by mass spectrometry of surfaces and interfaces. Since 2003 she has been a researcher at ICMATE and since 2021 she has been Senior Researcher. She contributed to numerous research projects, carrying out research in the following sectors: synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials and thin films of oxides or metals for applications in the fields of energetics, catalysis and electrochemistry; implementation and use of mass spectrometry instrumentation for the characterization of materials, surfaces and interphase regions; synthesis and characterization of anionic and proton conducting ceramics and films via PVD for applications in solid oxide fuel cells and membranes for gas purification; development of nanofluids and emulsions of phase change materials for thermal exchange or storage, and for solar or lubrication applications.

She is co-author of more than 130 publications in ISI journals and numerous conference communications. Since 2019 she has been the contact person for the ICMATE “Materials for Efficiency and Sustainability” research group. The group is currently involved in 10 European and National projects. She is coordinator of some projects including spoke 9 “Energy Sustainable Advanced Materials” of the PNRR Extended Partnership “NEST-Network 4 Energy Sustainable Transition”.
