European Cast Iron Group Meeting 2025

In the frame of the European project NetCastPL4.0, Grant Agreement n. 101159771, the European Cast Iron Group Meeting 2025 is organized by Dr Giuliano Angella, CNR-ICMATE, Unit of Milano, on 29 and 30 April 2025, in collaboration with the Italian Association of Metallurgy (AIM), Italian Association of Foundry (ASSOFOND) and Italian Foundry Suppliers’ Association (AMAFOND).
The members of the European Cast Iron Group meet every year on invitation, consisting of experts in the production, development and research on cast irons, consisting of about 180 experts from 27 countries who come both from the academia, such as Universities and research centres, and from the foundry sector and all those who are part of the foundry production chain.
The annual meeting is an opportunity to compare and exchange ideas on evolution and innovation of interest in the foundry sector, dealing with the many aspects that it involves, such as legislation complying, market, production, products microstructure, mechanical properties up to modeling.
