Perugia hosts the delegates of the Enterprise Europe Network Italy
On June 26–27, 2025, the historic Auditorium of the Monumental Complex of San Francesco al Prato in Perugia welcomed participants for the National Meeting of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Italy. The two-day event was dedicated to Europe’s largest network supporting SMEs in growth, innovation, and internationalisation.
The event brought together delegates from EEN Italy regional consortia, as well as key representatives from major European institutions, including:
EISMEA (European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency)
EU-OSHA (European Agency for Safety and Health at Work)
The SME Envoy Network
The Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy
And numerous small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) supported by EEN across Italy.
ICMATE is a partner of FriendEurope, the EEN consortium that supports SMEs in the North-Eastern Italian regions (Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Veneto) in enhancing their innovation capacity.
At the core of the meeting were strategic discussions on sustainability, innovation, international competitiveness, environmental challenges, and regional innovation policies—themes essential to driving the growth and resilience of Italian SMEs in an evolving global economy.
Held in one of Umbria’s most symbolic cultural venues, the 2025 edition of the National Meeting reaffirmed EEN Italy’s central role in fostering collaboration, advancing innovation, and reinforcing Europe’s commitment to its entrepreneurial ecosystem.
