  • Laurea degree in Chemistry (2005, University of Padova).
  • PhD in Molecular Science (2009, University of Padova).

During his PhD he spent one year at the Molecular Magnetism Group in Manchester (UK) studying the synthesis, the structural characterization and the magnetic properties of polynuclear Cr(III) complexes. He has been a Research Fellow of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and of University of Padova. His current research is focused on the synthesis and characterization of coordination-driven supramolecular architectures. Particular emphasis is devoted to self-assembly and organization, host-guest systems and confined spaces functional properties. He has acquired valuable expertise in inorganic and coordination chemistry as well as single crystal X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. In 2015, he joined the CNR-ICMATE, first as a fixed-term researcher and subsequently as permanent staff.
