BIOGRAPHY

Aleksandra is an intern at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR-ICMATE) in Genoa, Italy, since 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering and Quality from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland, and the Master’s in Materials Science. Her research focuses on advanced materials for high-stress and high-temperature applications, including metal-based composites, surface properties, antibacterial coatings, and additive manufacturing. She is particularly interested in metal nanoparticles (Ag, Cu, Au) in antibacterial coatings and material corrosion.

Aleksandra is involved in projects that focus on biomedical implants, thermal energy management and gas turbine seals. She has published scientific articles on the microstructure and properties of Hastelloy-X alloys and CP-Ti-based biocomposites. In addition, she works as a Research Specialist at the Łukasiewicz Research Network in Krakow, managing projects and participating in scientific communication through conferences and publications.
