NetCastPL4.0

Networking for advancing excellence and capacity in light-weight castings fo Foundry 4.0 in Poland
The European green transition has spurred countries and organizations to develop and adopt innovative solutions for industrial production. Countries facing a widening brain drain, like Poland, need more support in achieving this goal. The EU-funded NetCastPL4.0 project aims to improve AGH University of Science and Technology’s innovation capacity and efficiency in sustainable lightweight castings and, in collaboration with Italian and Finnish research centers and universities, create pan-European collaborative efforts in this field.

Thus, the project will create a work plan to increase collaboration, knowledge transfer, and research exchange between universities and stakeholders involved in the supply chain of green light-weight castings. Additionally, through various activities, it will focus on developing green lightweight castings with improved performance and reduced CO2 emissions.
The kickoff meeting is scheduled for 27 May.
