BIOGRAPHY

Researcher at CNR-ICMATE, Padua (Italy), since 2001. Ph.D. in Nuclear Medicine at the University of L’Aquila and Degree in Pharmacy at the University of Ferrara (Italy).

Supervisor of the research line ‘COORDINATION COMPOUNDS AND RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS’. She has more than 30 years of experience in the radiopharmaceutical field. Her research interest is focused on the design and synthesis of technetium, rhenium and copper metal complexes apt for the development of new paradigm of synthesis of radiocomplexes useful in radiopharmaceutical and nuclear medicine applications as potential diagnostic and theranostic agents.

Author of 95 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals and more than 200 communications at national and international conferences. Co-inventor of 8 patents in the field of radiopharmaceutical chemistry and nuclear imaging. She is co-supervisor of a number master’s degree and PhD thesis of Pharmacy Faculty as well as supervisor of postdoctoral fellows.

Chair-elect of the Gruppo Interdisciplinare di Chimica dei Radiofarmaci (GICR).
