Training on Research Management and Gender Equality – NETCastPL4.0

As part of the European project NETCastPL4.0, two online training sessions were successfully held on 24 April and 8 May 2025, focusing on research management and gender equality in scientific institutions.
The training was organized by ICMATE with the participation of three leading partners in the field of metallurgy: CNR-ICMATE (Italy), AGH University of Krakow (Poland), and Aalto University (Finland). The sessions aimed to strengthen the research capacities of early-career scientists and technical staff by providing practical tools for managing research projects effectively and promoting a more inclusive and equitable working environment.
Participants engaged in discussions on best practices, institutional strategies, and the importance of integrating gender perspectives in scientific careers and research content. The initiative supports NETCastPL4.0’s broader goal of fostering excellence and collaboration across Europe in advanced metallurgy and research innovation.
