- The study of the combination of alloys, compact and porous, can highlight the capability of some of these binary systems to guarantee lower overvoltage of activation for electrochemical conversion of pollutants (e.g. nitrate) in valuable species (e.g. ammonia) or harmless molecules (e.g. molecular nitrogen)
- Different porous and compact alloys were prepared by electrodeposition and were tested for the electrochemical conversion of pollutants (e.g. nitrate, nitrite) in valuable species (e.g. ammonia) or harmless molecules. Ru-based catalysts, prepared by electrodeposition and/or galvanic exchange, were prepared and tested for methanation of CO2 in gas-phase; the obtained results confirmed good activity.
